ansible-lint was expanding roles/ and playbooks/ into 166-167 files (71 Jinja templates, 23 CLAUDE.md, shipped scripts, Python tests it cannot analyze). Excludes role templates, shipped files, role tests and markdown.

Measured in a CI-like setup (dummy vault password, collections installed): 167 files processed before, 93 after; 0 findings in both, identical output. Local wall time is unchanged at about 12-13s (dominated by the per-playbook syntax checks), so this narrows the scope and silences the "Directory expansion discovered N file(s)" warning but is not a speed-up by itself.

Exclude role templates (71 .j2), shipped files, Python tests and markdown from
ansible-lint's directory expansion: it processed 167 files and now processes
about 93, with identical (zero) findings. Local wall time is unchanged
(~13s, dominated by per-playbook syntax checks), so the gain is a smaller scope
and no "Directory expansion discovered 166 file(s)" noise, not speed.
