A typo in the typed confirmation (<N> or <N> with changes) no longer aborts the approve and its checks: you get 3 tries. EOF or Ctrl-C still cancels. Two new cases in test-approve-promotion.sh (typo then right answer merges; three wrong answers refuse without merging).
